Wayne did great work and helped me with a number of issues!

 

When I moved back into my townhouse after renting for 3 yrs, there were a number of issues that needed to be addressed. One room's rug had been destroyed, and the base underneath rotted. The walls were scarred with a number of places where nails or tape had ripped away the paint.

And then there was wear and tear issues, such as a roof issue, with some rotten boards under the roof. Wayne and his team completed all the work in the time they had set, as I needed to move into the townhouse. The work was done professionally.

 

They were respectful of my property. And when Wayne noticed another issue, a slow drain causing a leak. He informed me immediately and prevented any further damage from the leak.

 

I found Wayne's estimates to be fair, and again, the work was done to completion. I would recommend Wayne to others looking for work on their home.  Jeff L.

I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to have found WJC for my renovation project. The work was excellent, pricing extremely fair and Wayne went over and above my expectations in taking care of everything, communicating with me regularly, and making things worry free for us. I will be using WJC exclusively for any and all future projects. I give WJC the highest possible recommendation!! We recently bought the 100-year-old house next door to ours to renovate and rent out. Wayne was recommended by the property manager. I signed on with WJC after he assessed what needed to be done to get the house ready to rent. The work done was everything from repairing damaged plaster walls, repairing roof leaks and other problems, installing and upgrading wiring, 10 new AC units, repainting and repairing walls and trim throughout the house, ordering and installing all new kitchen appliances and granite countertops, refinishing wood floors and a thousand other small things it took to get the house in top shape. Wayne was one of the most professional I have worked with. In my 20 year career I have dealt with a lot of contractors for work. 

Wayne was punctual, kept his word and followed up. He was there making sure the workers had support and made sure the job

 was being done to his standard. His workers were also very professional. They covered the entire house

Wayne and his crew did a tremendous job painting the majority of the interior of my NOVA home in preparation for putting it on the market. I was impressed by both work quality and Wayne's business philosophy. From the get-go and throughout the project that spanned a couple weeks, Wayne set realistic schedule expectations (i.e., did not over-promise) and kept me abreast of how things were going via text, calls and pictures. Given that I had moved out of the residence before Wayne started the work, this close communication re. status and outlook was critical and gave me confidence that Wayne was on top of what was happening. Relative to work quality, it was clear early on that Wayne understood the value of and invested the effort to do the all-important prep work that is critical to final quality. We had a lot of walls that had finishes, bold paint colors and imperfections that required alot of work before the painting started. Wayne and his crew cut no corners and the final product reflects this. Bottom line -- Wayne is an honest businessman who cares about and is committed to doing the job right. We hired Wayne and his team to replace our exterior French door which had been leaking and damaged our hardwood floors. His team did a great job installing the new door and patching the damaged floor as well as checking off a long list of odds and ends (wood rot replacement, new faucet, painting, clogged drains, drywall cracks). Wayne was easy to work with and always gave a fair price. His team was prompt and communicated their timeline to us in advance. My wife and I plan to hire Wayne again in the future and would recommend WJ Contractors to others. I especially appreciated his team re-prioritizing their work in the early mornings (focusing on lower floor, quieter tasks) to avoid scaring our 1-yo daughter as she was getting ready to go to daycare. - Mike S.

Wayne has been doing the maintenance and repair work on my rental condo for over 10 years. Never, never an issue. Easy communication, fair price, and he goes above and beyond what most people in his field would do. He’s also helped me out in a big way in a couple of other circumstances (being on site when appliance delivery people were using some excuse to get out of it – a third floor unit). I know, I was listening on the other end of the phone as Wayne was ‘discussing’ with them to complete the delivery. The last job was tile work in one of the bathrooms – great work as well. shower. He even tiled the ceiling about the tub/shower and walk-in shower. The floors in

both bathrooms did not have tile and they installed that as well.
